Despite Johnny the Critter Gitter working in Toronto since March 23, hazing by the Critter Gitter, and the coyote protection organization Coyote Watch Canada, has actually been working quite well.  The real issue is dog poo attracting rodents, and the presence of rodenticide bait boxes which poisons the rodents, who slow down and weaken the coyotes who catch mange.  When the coyotes get mange, people feed them out of pity.  Feeding and attractants are the real problem, and hazing is letting them know that Liberty Village is a crummy place to build a den.  Update about the coyotes. https://www.toronto.ca/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/8fb2-Update-to-PublicApr-15-2025-clean.pdf
