No time to slow down!

Hi all, we’ve reached 1,645 signatures on this petition—thank you so much for your support! 

We are a little more than 2 months away from November, when our bill can officially be filed. But we need to meet some milestones to help make that happen. We need to have 2,000+ signatures AND we need to obtain a bill author. 

Our bill is essentially written and has been submitted to the Texas legislative council. We have a co-author but we need 2 authors to carry the bill, one from the House of Representatives, and one from the Senate. Ideally we will have bi-partisan sponsors because THIS IS NOT a Democrat or a Republican issue, this is solely about protecting all our vulnerable Texas children and families.
