I hope you're all doing great. Here are some very important updates:

1. This petition is now backed up by over 500 people and continues to grow. It is good to see so many people want our seniors, family, and friends in LTC to be safe. Keep up the conversations happening about this! If each person gets just 1 signature, that will take us to 1,000 easily. 📈
2. I received a reply to my February 4, 2026, email to the MLAs. It addresses the petition, does not take a stance about the requested amendment, and delegates it to the Ministry of Health staff. That reply and my follow-up with all the MLAs can be read here.
3. For transparency, all MLAs' responses regarding the 2 questions they were asked can be found here. This table will be updated as often as possible so people know where their MLA stands on this safety issue.
