It is sad that all the authorities that are supposed to protect trees in Kenya have given permission for their destruction. KFS and KEPHIS statements are so disappointing and careless. It is pathetic that a president who is calling for the planting of trees can allow such a sacred tree to be destroyed indiscriminately! 

Our fight remains until our sacred Baobab tree is protected.
