Community Accessibility — Saturday Reflection

Today's experiences reminded me why accessibility isn't always about physical access.

Sometimes it's about information.

Knowing when an activity begins, how long it will last, what preparation is needed and what choices are available can make a real difference for neurodivergent people.

A surprise can still be enjoyable when the essential practical details are communicated clearly.

Accessible communication helps people participate with more confidence and independence.

It's a small consideration that can make a big difference.
