I’ve just come across this article about Martin Wrigley MP calling for urgent reform to the Access to Work scheme, and it really struck a chord.

This shows that the very issues raised through my petition about protecting community spaces are being recognised on a national level too.

Access to Work is meant to help people stay in work and support projects that bring people together — but when systems fail, both individuals and community spaces like No Limits Café & Hub are affected.

It’s encouraging to see these problems being taken seriously and to know that voices like ours are part of that wider call for change. 💙
