This is one of the most important actions we can take right now.
Before the March 23 City Council meeting on proposed landing fees at Falcon Field, we need as many residents as possible to submit an official online comment. These comments become part of the public record and are seen by Council before they vote.
Here’s how to submit your comment:
1. Go to:
https://www.mesaaz.gov/Government/City-Council-Meetings
2. Click “Public Participation at Regular Council Meetings.”
3. Click “Online Comment Card.”
4. Select the meeting date: March 23, 2026.
5. Select Proposed Landing Fees for Falcon Field.
6. If prompted for a 6-digit code, use the code 26-0200.
7. Fill out the rest of the form and submit.
What should you say? Keep it focused and professional. You can mention:
• You support landing fees to keep Falcon Field financially self-sustaining.
• Users who generate the most operations should pay their fair share.
• Mesa taxpayers should not be responsible for airport deficits caused by high-volume training activity.
• The airport must operate with balance between users and surrounding neighborhoods.
A few strong, clear sentences are enough.
This decision will shape Falcon Field for years. If we don’t speak up, others will dominate the narrative.
Please take 5 minutes today and submit your comment. Then share this with neighbors.
Numbers matter. Volume matters. Showing broad community support matters.
If we want the Council to stand firm and keep the airport financially self-sustaining without using taxpayer dollars, we need to show up, even online.
March 23 is coming fast. Let’s make sure our voices are counted!!
