Monday's Board Vote (6-2) = Policy 810 PASSED. If implemented as-is, this policy will limit before/after care transport to only 5-day/week state-approved programs (home or approved sites). After sending a follow up email on Monday, Superintendent Johnston replied with openness and a willingness to explore additional in-school options. This is good!

Policy implementation equity and access are our goals now. Any data from the community will help ensure exploration turns into viable programming for WSSD families when school starts. Over break, please consider taking a two (2) minute survey to support these efforts.
