Dear friends, Today in court Justice Elizabeth Neilson delivered her decision in Michael Earl Hill's bail hearing--bail denied!! There is a publication ban on the hearing but it is reported in one of the articles at the link below that she denied Hill's bail, "citing his weak ties to the community and the need for more stringent conditions." Hill's lawyer speaks of this matter in the article from the Windsor Star. According to the articles, there were tears and applause in the courtroom after the Justice rendered her decision. Hill will remain in custody. His next court appearance is January 25.
