The 207-c bills are on the move! A2535 has been referred to the NYS Assembly Ways and Means Committee. It was a nail-biter concerning the Senate version. Sen. Gallivan relinquished sponsorship, and we hear this was done so that a Democrat would pick up the bill and increase the chances the bill would advance. Sen. Hinchey has picked up sponsorship of the bill in the Senate!! The new Senate bill number is S8837 (formerly S1538).
