“why has it taken so long?”

The most frequently asked question is – “why has it taken so long?”
Using the analogy of a jigsaw puzzle to help explain why resolving the Case has taken so long.
In total there are between 3 ½ and 4 million pages of case related Documents that have been generated appertaining to this investigation.
At Trial, Essex Police gave the CPS perhaps ½ million pages of material, of which a few thousand pages of information was shown to the Jury and argued over in Court.
The picture created by such a small amount of information, in jigsaw terms, meant that the picture revealed at Trial was nothing like the picture of the actual events that took place.
Since Trial, there have been many investigations into all manner of supposed wrong doings by the Police, Prosecution, witnesses, procedures and the work carried out by Forensic Scientists.
These include:
1. The 1986 Dickinson Enquiry.
2. The 1987/88 Fraud Squad Enquiry (Case 253) into the actions of my relatives.
3. The 1988 Appeal Hearing.
4. The 1991 City of London Police/Police Complaints Authority Enquiry.
5. 1992 – 1994 Home Office C3 Enquiry.
6. 1995 – 2002 CCRC Enquiry.
7. 2001 – 2002 Metropolitan Police/CPS/CCRC Enquiry (Stokenchurch).
8. 2002 Appeal Hearing.
9. 2004 – 2012 CCRC Enquiry.
Each Investigation generating huge amounts of new documentation. The difficulty for myself and my Lawyers has been Disclosure. All Police/Police Complaints Authority Investigations up until 2006 and a Supreme Court Judgement have, as a class, attracted Public Interest Immunity (PII) Orders making them inaccessible to me.
It was not until 2011 that I finally got access to most of the Case Papers.
Having put them all together, I realised that Essex Police are still concealing Case Material crucial to my Defence and the ability for me to prove my innocence.
Hence why there is a need for Disclosure and a Petition with a Thunderclap to force Essex Police to come clean and hand over the Case Material proving my innocence.
Jeremy Bamber.
