Please would you use this link https://endourpain.org/email-your-mp/ to email your MP to help me in my continuing fight to get access to medical cannabis for other families.  You might recall that with your help I managed to get an NHS prescription for my son Alfie back in 2018.  However, these other families, campaigning under the End Our pain banner, still haven’t got an NHS prescription.  They are having to pay huge sums of money each month to access private prescriptions of medical cannabis so their children are safe.  Caring for a sick child is demanding enough without having the extra worry of fundraising.  And Covid restrictions on gatherings have made fundraising next to impossible.

End Our Pain and these families have been asking Matt Hancock Secretary State for Health for emergency funding for their prescriptions for months.  But they have been told it’s not possible. However, there are now extensive media reports that the health authorities in Northern Ireland have recently announced a move to help a family campaigning there.  I commend them on their common sense and compassion.  Now I need your help to get Matt Hancock to review the situation across the rest of the UK and help the End Our Pain families with the cost of their private prescriptions until the NHS starts to prescribe.  Will you do that for me?
