A little weekend up date:
We might sound a little quiet at the moment, so dropping in to say hello and update you all as we are very busy behind the scenes.
You may know that The River Thames Scheme (RTS) said they would conduct feasibility studies on alternative routes, to avoid passing through Ferris Meadow Lake (Shepperton Open Water) Lake, and that there will be a public consultation.
However, we’ve been advised that the consultation will happen before these feasibility studies are complete and to us that is not logical. We are requesting that they postpone the final public consultation until the route studies are conclusive.
Yesterday we sent an email to Surrey County Council & The Environment Agency to ask:
What date will the 'alternative route' Feasibility studies be completed?
What date will the public consultancy take place?
We'll be back to you on the 18th August 2023 with more news and a call to action. Yes, you read that right, we have a few plans & would love you to be involved. We really need your continued support, watch this space you lovely lot!
In the meantime, many thanks as always and do keep sharing and signing!
