GREENHAVEN WILL NOT RECEIVE SPLOST FUNDS
Imagine Greenhaven has been touting that it will be in control of SPLOST funds if it becomes a city. However, that is not correct. There has been a determination that any new city or area in unincorporated DeKalb OR annexed after September 2017 WILL NOT have access to those funds. An in fact, there would need to be a new referendum and a vote after that time frame for any new funds.
