Folks:

Please put a note into the President RIGHT NOW.  Tell him to cancel all federal student loans by executive order! 

Say something like this:

Mr. President:

You have the executive authority to cancel federally owned student loans by executive order. Please use it! The federal lending system is FAILED. The country needs stimulus. You could cancel 85% of ALL student loans without needing Congressional approval, without needing any tax appropriation, and without adding ONE PENNY to the national debt.

Please do this. DRAIN THE STUDENT LOAN SWAMP. WE NEED YOU ON THIS!

We have 550,000 signatures, but we could easily have 5 million. There are 44 million voters in the country who would greatly, GREATLY appreciate such an act.

Reset the lending system. Come up with a better way to finance higher education.  The student loan system we have is done.
