I want to say thank you to everyone who is signing this petition. We want President Biden to acknowledge Tesla's EV leadership and this is a first step in that direction. 

However, we are not there. I'm keeping this open until President Biden actually fully acknowledges Tesla's leadership. 

Tesla's mission is to accelerate our transition to sustainability and has done incredible work in that regard. It was Tesla that made EVs popular. It was the dedication, passion, and hard work of Tesla's engineering team who never gave up on something that many including GM did.

The Biden administration is reaching out to Tesla for help. This is a sign of progress. But until the administration actually acknowledges the hard work of Tesla's employees, we have work to do.

"Elon Musk should accept to talk to Biden and help the other OEMs navigate the chip shortage, under the minor condition that Joe apologizes and admits publicly that Tesla, under Elon's leadership, is leading the EV revolution."
