With the change in the times to service from Transport for Wales and the fact that most people will have to travel to Newport and then change for a train to Cardiff.
Have they taken into consideration the extra passengers that will be forced to use the main line trains during the most busy part of the day?
For example - Today 03/10 the 06:55 train from Newbridge to Cardiff turned up with 2 carriages, by the time it got to Pye Corner it was standing room only with the train absolutely packed. From December this train will be going into Newport where all these passengers will alight the train and then get onto another all ready crowed train to Cardiff. Transport for Wales will use the excuse that their is a direct train to Cardiff which gets into the city for just past the hour but this will make most commuters who catch these early trains late for work. I have spoke again to passengers on the trains over the last few days and they are furious about the changes.
