MPPs Support Delivery Cap

People keep telling me that nothing’s going to change, that people in power won’t listen.

On Wednesday Peter Tabuns MPP, Toronto-Danforth, not only listened to my lengthy plea to help restaurants by capping third-party delivery apps to 15 per cent, he took action.

This led to Catherine Fife MPP, Economic Development critic, sending an open letter to the Ford government on Thursday, emphasizing why this cap is essential (shown in part above).

Their support, along with Amanda Simard MPP, proves that change CAN happen.

However, we need thousands more signatures to get this through. So please sign and share this petition. Restaurants are relying on takeout and delivery for survival right now. A 15 per cent cap will help.
