Chennai Central was the first railway station to make changes for those with disabilities, after seeing my petition. They "partnered" with a local hospital and introduced foldable wheelchairs that are small enough to fit inside the coach! An official letter from Chennai Railways that was sent to me by a railway official, requests other railways to follow suit. They've requested that they provide foldable wheelchairs to and from the station and coaches! Chennai Central did this independently, without any instruction from Mr. Suresh Prabhu. There are changes being made, but the change needs to originate from Mr. Suresh Prabhu and The Railway Ministry itself.
