If you have been hoping legislation will pass in your area to unchain dogs, and it hasn't yet, never give up! In my County, Randolph, the Animal Control is supportive, the Public Health Director, the Newspaper, the County Commissioners, the Citizens, Animal Rescues, Vets, and the Sheriff. You may not be as lucky in your area, to have that much support. Keep using your voice. Don't get arrested, or shot by stealing a dog, but keep your voice loud, and get as many to join you as you can. Try visiting the people who can make changes. Send professionals to meet with County Leaders, whose occupations are affected by the tragic sight of a chained dog. Postmen, Realtors, just about anyone who has a profession where they are at a lot of homes often. Ask your News Media to share images of horrific looking suffering! Volunteer to help chained dogs, take them dog houses that you can get the prisoners at your local prison to make, or your local high school's construction class, and get this effort on the news! You CAN make a difference! Let's keep fighting every year, until the shame is too great for those who chain! Merry Christmas and thank you all for your love and support of Animals! Hugs & Doggie Kisses! X O X O Donna
