T. D., a 58-year-old British citizen, suffers from severe depression and has struggled for many years to live with basic human rights in Turkey, after getting estranged from her legal guardian and becoming a permanent prisoner in emergency help for British nationals in Turkey. After she was beaten and assaulted at the Eskisehir Muhterem Reverend Handicapped Care Facility in Emek Mah, Ertas Cad No: 223, Eskisehir, Turkey, on April 14, 2022, we lost communication with a family member T.D forever.

T. D.'s fundamental civil rights and swept her rights under the rug. Everyone involved in protecting T.D as a trusted official has abused their position, allowing grave violations of T. D's human rights to occur. Because nepotism is so prevalent in Turkey, we know that T.D is imprisoned, and all she wanted was to be treated with basic respect and dignity so that she can restart her life.

As members of the T.D family residing in the United Kingdom, our lives are stolen away, and we have never lived with such terrible embarrassing neglect, humiliation, and suffering for years. relationships within a profession or field. She is unable to protect herself as an adult and cannot leave her current setting due to grave safety issues, putting her health at risk and decreasing her chances of surviving Mental Health.

When we finally got someone to listen to our concerns about T.D.'s safety, she was beaten, violated, and abused because her basic needs were not being met, and we had been ignored for many years. Since then, she's been mistreated every day and night, and we've given up hope that T.D.'s basic needs for safety are being met. T.D. has serious health problems and is locked up like an unwelcome animal. No one is allowed to talk to T.D. because she has been neglected and treated badly. This has destroyed not only T. D's life but ours.

We have not heard from our beloved sister T.D. in a long time. No qualified authorities in both countries have shown any sincerity or basic concern for our sister, and we have endured years of neglect, humiliation, and suffering as a result.

Those who misuse our trust have intoxicated all civil rights of British citizen have legal obligations for T.D. by the following reasons:

  • T.D has right to live a life free of abuse and neglect.
  • T.D.  is prohibited of cruel and inhuman treatment of being captive
at Eskisehir Muhterem Handicapped Care Facility in Eskisehir in Turkey
  • T.D has a basic human freedom to live with basic sense of self-worth.
  • T.D have right to return the United Kingdom and retain her legal right to seek treatment in the United Kingdom due to fact T.D is British national.
  • T.D have right to an impartial hearing of legal guardianship. T.D. was not presented herself at the court hearing in January 2020, because she was obliged to look after her unwell mother.
  • T.D have right to a private family life, since we haven't heard T.D.'s voice in a year, we can't be sure she's still alive and not being harmed.
  • T.D have right to enjoy her assets in peace. T.D. is insulted for her basic needs and she is living in extremely poor conditions her possessions are taken away from T.D and T.D lives in extreme poor conditions.
  • T.D is still detained as a homeless person living in an unhealthy care home facility and still cannot enjoy her possessions, T.D cannot sleep without fear, negligence and abuse.

T.D must be given hope. Our dear sister should be given her human rights — the right to survive and thrive. No human should endure the same torment she had to go through. We must give her the chance to live a healthy life again, outside a world of abuse, malnutrition, and hopelessness. Please, get her out of her misery and bring her back to her home in Britain, out of that hellhole in Turkey.

Those who misuse British citizen T. D’s civil liberties have intoxicated all our civil rights in the UK live free from all kinds of abuse and neglect. We are still waiting for our Member of Parliament for Poplar and Limehouse in London, as well as Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Officers in Turkey, to release T.D. from her awful condition and rescue T.D. for the sincere people who believe in fundamental human rights.

We, her closest family members in London, are deeply concerned about her well-being and health and are unable to contact our beloved sister T.D. Our British citizen family member, T.D., who is being held in Turkey, requires immediate assistance because no living, breathing human being should be imprisoned for life for no reason!
