NEW SANDLEFORD PLANNING APPLICATION - REQUEST PLEASE TO RESEND YOUR LETTERS WITH INSERT & NEW NUMBER

Just as we thought we had submitted our objections, along came another one. This second application only addresses the first phase of the development Parcel N1 and contains many of the papers that have already been seen in the first Application. Bloor Homes has said that this has been done to give West Berkshire Council the option of building early to meet housing targets. However, there is a question mark as to whether this is Bloor Homes' decision or it has been requested by West Berkshire Council. HOWEVER, THERE IS A RISK THAT RUSHING INTO STARTING WORK ON THE FIRST PARCEL WITHOUT A CLEAR PLAN (ACCESS ROUTES ETC) WILL COMPROMISE THE PLANNING OF THE WHOLE SITE. Therefore, it is suggested that you send your previous objection letter to West Berkshire Council, BUT AMEND THE PLANNING APPLICATION NUMBER TO 16/00106/OUTMAJ AND INSERT THE FOLLOWING: 1. We object to Planning Application 16/00106/OUTMAJ, it should not be considered outside of the Full Hybrid Planning Application as a number of issues raised with the outline planning directly impact on how the detailed application is considered and should be developed. This application is in clear contravention of the Supplementary Planning Document (as amended Mar 15) which states “S1. The Council requires proposals for the site to be brought forward by means of a single planning application for the site in order to achieve a comprehensive development and to ensure the timely provision of infrastructure, services, open space and other facilities in a properly co-ordinated fashion”.
