978 Signatures Strong + Important Updates on Donations & Our Official Launch
To everyone who has signed so far—thank you.
At the time of writing this, we have reached 978 signatures. That is nearly 1,000 voices saying "Enough is Enough." It is a powerful start, but we have a long road ahead to reach our goal of 50,000 signatures by March 25th.
I am sending this update to clarify a few critical things and let you know what comes next.
1. Important Clarification on Donations
Many of you have asked about the "Donate" or "Chip in" button that appears after you sign. Please understand that this is a feature automatically added by Change.org. That money goes directly to Change.org to support their technology; it does not come to me, the campaign, or Shawnathon’s family.
I have already emailed Change.org requesting that they disable the donation button on our page to avoid any confusion. To those who have already donated, thank you greatly for your support. Your generosity shows how much this cause means to you, and we deeply appreciate your willingness to help.
2. How You Can Help More
We have received messages from people wanting to do more than just sign. We hear you, and we need you. I have created a dedicated email address for anyone willing to assist the campaign directly. If you have time, skills, or energy to offer, please email us at:

3. Weekly Updates Starting Tomorrow
We are getting organized. Starting tomorrow, Friday, February 6th, I will be sending out a Weekly Update every Friday to keep you informed on the campaign's progress. Tomorrow’s update will include more specific details on how we plan to hit our goal and how you can get involved.
4. The Official Launch: The Walk (Sunday, Feb 8th)
This Sunday, February 8th, I LuciusTheLion(@LuiTheBajan) will be walking from St. Lucy to Christ Church to officially launch the campaign. I will be streaming the journey LIVE on TikTok to raise awareness and demand action.
