MAGH and all Malayalees across the Houston area would warmly welcome a direct flight to Kerala. However, we understand that due to the significant distance involved, this may not be feasible. Several factors contribute to this understanding.
Firstly, the flying time for such a journey would exceed 18 hours, posing logistical challenges and potential risks for airlines. Additionally, flights of this duration raise concerns about the condition of the onboard facilities, particularly the bathrooms, which could become compromised during extended periods in the air.
Given these considerations, we propose directing flights to other major Indian cities like Delhi, Mumbai, or Hyderabad. For the convenience of passengers bound for Cochin, we suggest making Cochin the final destination for embarkation and customs clearance.
While we acknowledge the desire for a direct flight to Kerala, the practicalities involved make it nearly impossible from Houston. Therefore, our focus is on facilitating travel to India through alternative metro cities to ensure a smoother and more practical journey for all passengers.
