We, the undersigned, strongly condemn the August 8, 2025 meeting at the White House during which U.S. President Donald Trump hosted Azerbaijani  President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

Our Demands
• Hold hearings in the U.S. Congress to investigate why leaders with direct or indirect responsibility for the 2020–2023 mass atrocities against the people of Artsakh, Artsakh Genocide, were received in the highest halls of U.S. government. These atrocities include military aggression, over 5,000 deaths, a nine-month blockade and starvation, the forced displacement of 150,000 Armenians, the closure of more than 170 schools, and the destruction of Armenian cultural heritage including hundreds of Churches and Khachkars .

• Investigate Donald Trump’s actions regarding the abuse of his official powers, particularly his use of the presidency to facilitate the so-called 'Trump Corridor' project, from which he stands to gain personal financial or political benefits.

• Demand accountability from Aliyev and Pashinyan for their attempts to withdraw cases from International courts that condemn crimes committed against other citizens.  No party who is not a victim or direct survivor has the right to withdraw such legal actions on behalf of the actual victims. 

Our Conviction
• Organizers of genocide and ethnic cleansing must stand before international justice — not be rewarded with official receptions.

• The United States, as a defender of human rights and justice, must avoid actions that may legitimize war crimes or obstruct their investigation.

We urge the U.S. legislature and the international community to take immediate action in response to these demands.
