A quick update: after sharing it with the Town, Councillor Victor Woodhouse contacted me directly, requested my input on changes to the by-law, and confirmed it will be included when the review happens. Newmarket News has also published a story about the petition, helping bring wider attention to the issue.

We’re now at 44 signatures — a solid start, but we need many more voices to show Council that residents want this review prioritized sooner rather than later.
