In a unique debate held in parliament on the contribution of Jains in the United Kingdom, Gareth Thomas MP, chair of the Jain All Party Parliament Group explained why it is important for the Jain religion to be a specific option on the census.

We have reached nearly 3,500 signatures online and have a number of offline signatures too, but there is still some work to do.
