Please see the link below for todays announcement from Bishop Sullivan of the Diocese of Camden declaring Chapter 11 Protection. This can have a major impact on the future of St. Michael's Church and Campus.  While the message reassures all that Parishes and Schools will not be affected we always need to be prepared to protect St. Michael's Church in Atlantic City. The St. Michael's Church Preservation Society knows that St. Michael's Church is vulnerable. It was targeted 5 years ago to be closed and the SMCPS successfully stopped that effort. We now face a potentially more dangerous fight. Maybe related to this... all my attempts in the past month to discuss the future of St. Michael's Church with the new pastor Fr. Kevin Mohan have been ignored.

Please be on the alert for my messages as we monitor how the courts will assess and sell the assets of the diocese to pay its creditors and liabilities. If we hear of any attempts to sell St. Michael's Church and its adjoining properties we will alert you and call for your support.
