A den of iniquity
I would like to thank everyone who took their time to sign this petition for James. Over 300 in a couple of weeks is pretty good for an issue that doesn’t necessarily affect a large group of people. I have submitted this petition and signatures to the NDHSAA. I have zero expectation that they will respond to it or choose to correct the path they’ve chosen. I have come to see that they are an indifferent and hands off organization that does not even adhere to the standards they agreed to as part of a federal complaint only a few months ago. I’m a nice guy, a lot more patient and more understanding than most parents would be under the circumstances my son has experienced. I also gave the NDHSAA the complete comment log provided by the change.org website. That proves absolutely every point I could have possibly made to demonstrate James’s reasons for transferring better than I ever could. It’s an embarrassment to the NDHSAA and all other institutions that such practices are allowed to go on. In bigger states where Catholic and private schools do not wish to abide by the same rules as everyone else, they’re made to form their own leagues and not allowed to participate in state sponsored events. That would have happened a long time ago if the NDHSAA was enforcing their own rules on those institutions. They could play as many talentless donor kids as they want and make no effort to win. The coaches could accept gifts in boat trips, ski trips, money, and other perks without oversight or conflict.
Anyways, I always said James would be fine. This petition was only in response to continued sabotage and slander of James. People had to be shown that they’re not a representatives of God on earth. They’re dirty sinners like everyone else. James still has the talent that no amount of donations could ever buy and the potential that no influence could procure. A crazy sports parent is someone who buys their kids positions/playing time they could never earn and step on others for their own ego.
No parent is crazy for endeavoring on behalf of their kid to receive the basic minimum amount of fair treatment and only be given exactly what they earn in an honest setting.
James has made huge strides back to his former levels of accomplishment after being meticulously and systemically torn down for two years. James was brave enough to walk away and will absolutely get the last laugh on his terms in the very near future. On behalf of James, thank you all for your support and I will update you if hell freezes over and the NDHSAA grows a spine.
