June 9th 2017 - This is not the first time something like this has happened to our family. Just 3 short years ago we lost Serenity Solano (23) and her unborn son to domestic violence. She was stabbed 19 times in her stomach and thrown off a bridge by her husband Erick Uriel who was apprehended while trying to strangle the couples 6 month old baby girl. He is currently in prison in Mexico. However, her murderer's parents have been granted custody of her baby daughter and her sister and adoptive family is devastated by the loss of these two beautiful souls. Erick's family now has custody of their daughter and her sister's family has been allowed no contact with her daughter. These families should not be allowed to raise more children. Erick's family has not lost anything and Serenity's family has lost everything. His family can still visit him and talk to him daily and Serenity's family is left alone and grieving while Erick's mother has hired a lawyer to try to get Erick freed from jail all the while raising the child he tried to strangle. Let's make it difficult for a murderer's family to get custody of more children and subject them to an environment where domestic violence is accepted. #Justice4Kelli #Justice4Serenity
