The "official count" of reported Lyme cases on PEI was only 2 in 2017...but so far I have heard from at least 12 Islanders who have Lyme and have had to go to Maine or elsewhere for effective diagnostic blood tests & antibiotic treatment.  If you have been bitten by a tick and/or suffer from Lyme...please send a brief message to canrisk_economics@yahoo.com. This is to establish a rough "unofficial count" of those affected by tickbite.  We will not contact you or share your info.
