I'd like to give a big thank you to everyone who has supported this petition so far. I'd like to ask that you keep sharing and spreading the word so we can make this change happen. I have updated the petition to include two links at the bottom, one to a news article from the time the homicide occurred and one a year later indicating it remains unsolved, which was published less than a year before we moved into the unit. I do not have further information beyond that point as it seems that nothing else is publicly available. Thank you again for your support and let's make a change so nobody else has to go through this!
