Dear Signatories Yesterday (March 22, 2018), we submitted the petition along with a cover letter, list of all signatories and comments to Mr. Partha Chatterjee, Minister-In-Charge, School Education & Higher Education, Govt. of West Bengal; Ananya Chakraborty, Chairperson of the West Bengal Commission for Protection of Child Rights; and Dr. Sashi Panja, Minister of State, Women & Child Development and Social Welfare, Govt. of West Bengal. We plan to follow-up on these submissions and see in what form we can engage and pressure the government stakeholders further to act on the matter of gender and sexuality education in schools and colleges of West Bengal.
