Former International Trade Minister and Member of Parliament in Canada, Ed Fast, has appealed to CANZUK supporters across the country, requesting their help in making free trade and free movement (between Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom) part of Canada's foreign policy commitments. Mr. Fast's statement is as follows: Friends, We have a once in a generation opportunity to get CANZUK on the national agenda in Canada. Never before have we had a leadership candidate like Erin O'Toole advocating for such a fantastic agreement. I know Erin very well. When I was Minister of International Trade, I negotiated several trade deals on behalf of Canada, and Erin was by my side for much of it as my Parliamentary Secretary. I got to see first hand his abilities to get things done. As Prime Minister of Canada, he will be able to sit down with other world leaders and get this agreement done. But we need your help.
