We are pleased to announce that the Commonwealth Freedom of Movement Organisation has changed to CANZUK International. Our redeveloped organisational structure welcomes a new advisory board that will promote freedom of movement between Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom among senior government officials, and progress our campaign even further within the media and public policy forums. Our online petition, promoting freedom of movement between Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom, has also reached over 175,500 signatures (and is continuing to rise). To aid our campaign, please share our online petition so we may achieve more signatures from members of the public who support our free movement proposals. This week, Alexander Downer (Australia’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom) also stated that Australia will be seeking more relaxed immigration rules for Australians if the UK wishes to negotiate a free trade deal with Canberra. This is significant news for our campaign, as such negotiations could lead to greater visa liberalisation for Australians in the UK (and vice-versa), and greater development of free movement between the two countries.
