We've just written to the Head of the School of Biology and all the senior faculty members urging them to take part in Defra's formal consultation. We said "This is possibly the final opportunity for Oxford scientists to try and influence policy directions that reference your original research" and "we plan to present our petition on Weds 17th April. We'd be grateful if you, or a suitable deputy would be available to meet us to receive it".
