The application is counter to the existing zoning put into place for solar developments in the Town of Glenville. It is more than ½ mile from the substation and therefore does not conform. 2.  The GECC reviewed the project and recommended a SEQRA positive recommendation which would force the applicant to perform a Full Environmental Impact Statement because of the potential negative effects to the environment. The Town of Glenville strongly suggested that this plan DOES NOT move forward!
