Fairview Heights City Council Update on Proposed Gas Station

If you haven’t already been made aware, the City Council will NOT be voting tonight on the proposed gas station after all.  We have been informed the developer has made modifications to the original plans - what those changes entail are not clear at this point in time. 

As a result, the City Council will instead be making a motion tonight to refer the proposal back to the Planning Commission for consideration.  Again, there will be no vote on the gas station plans tonight.  The advice we have been given is to keep an eye on the Fairview Heights “Agenda & Minutes” site for details on what the revised plans are as they become available.
