Dear neighbour,

Thank you again for signing the petition opposing the proposed data centre at 12 Mars Road. With more than 860 signatures, our community has already shown how strongly people care about what happens in our neighbourhood.

We are now moving into the next important phase of this campaign.

A parliamentary inquiry into the cluster of data centres is now underway. This provides a formal, time‑critical opportunity for our community to be heard, and it’s important that we present a clear, united position.

To support this, we have created a dedicated community Facebook group where residents can stay connected and collaborate on a single, coordinated community submission to the inquiry. A shared submission developed collectively can carry significantly more weight than individual submissions alone.

This is an important moment. A strong, united submission will help influence a pause in the approval process until the parliamentary inquiry concludes in October this year.

This group submission will sit alongside (not replace) any individual submissions you may have already made. Many people have already taken that step—this is about strengthening our collective voice.
