In just a week 500 of us came together to sign, support, and share our open letter! By providing our signatures, we are ensuring our voices are heard and that further public consultation will occur. Together we are advocating to ensure we are an informed and involved community.

Here is what is next:

There is a Committee of the Whole Meeting on Thursday, September 07, 2023, at 8:45 am, in Council Chambers. A request was submitted on August 24, 2023, for the open letter to be publicly read, and we trust that it will be read at this time. 

We look forward to the Council's response to our open letter, and we will return with an update after this meeting.
