At present, we welcome messages, opinions, and personal statements that will help us convey to the district why an independent investigation of teacher sexual abuse is so important. Due to the sensitive nature of this topic, we guarantee that your messages will be kept secure and anonymous unless you wish to divulge your identity. If you give permission, we will plan to share individual statements at upcoming school board meetings.

Alternatively, you can appear at a board meeting yourself if you have a statement or opinion to share. The first meeting of the year is Tuesday, September 15, at 7 pm Eastern, and will take place via Zoom. We are told that in coming days, the Zoom link for the meeting will be posted here: https://www.bcsd.org/domain/19 . The time for public comments is near the beginning of the meeting, so don't be late!
