Stop Financial Abuse and Degrading Conditions - Restore Safety, Work, and Human Dignity

We are fighting to end more than a decade of "sophisticated slavery" and systemic exploitation. Our survivor, a medical torture survivor, has been deliberately financially stripped and blocked from gainful employment while being forced into 15–20 unstable, unhygienic and intimidating living arrangements.
This is a calculated campaign of coercive control. From being left homeless since the COVID lockdown to facing fraudulent loans and contracts taken out in her name, every move has been designed to force dependency and isolation. The degradation reached a peak when she was lured to India with a fake job offer, only to face further sexual harassment and exploitation.
We demand immediate action to:
Restore Safety and Work: End the administrative blocks and identity interference that prevent a survivor from supporting herself.
Stop Financial Abuse: Investigate doctored financial authorisations and loans raised in joint names without consent.
Ensure Human Dignity: Provide the essential recovery and aftercare that have been denied for years.
The "institutional silence" from the UK, India and global bodies must end. We are calling on the UN Special Rapporteurs to intervene and restore the safety and autonomy that have been systematically stripped away.
