I want to thank everyone for their support by signing and sharing the petition. For the past few years Bob Buerkle and I have been exploring legal options. At the beginning of this year we found a firm that impressed us. We have been working with this firm for months and as of May 23, 2019, a lawsuit has been filed in the United States District Court,Southern District of Ohio, Western District.

Bob and I strongly believe that Ohio's teachers deserve a cost-of-living in their retirement and deserve to have the promises made to them by their retirement system honored. Please know Ohio teachers must, by law, contribute 14% of their earning to Ohio STRS to help fund their pension.
