'Yesterday I wrote to the Chief Executive of the Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board about Highparks Medical Practice's proposal to close its Higham site.
I've asked him to come and meet with residents to hear first hand the impact this closure would have on the community, and work with us to find a solution’

Our MP, Lauren Sullivan has again made contact with the ICB, she is and has been highly involved in supporting her constituents in keeping their surgery open.
I do not condone the latest post from Highparks in which they are using tactical scaremongering to insinuate should we continue our fight they will have no choice but to look at another practice. Now I could be way off here, but I’m fairly confident that if we allow this surgery to close, where does it end…?
I have said from the very beginning and I will continue to say it, every village deserves to keep their GP practice, and whatever village we are talking about now or in the future we should continue to support each other in the same way.
Cliffe Woods, Cliffe & Wainscott we should be working together in ensuring all of our surgeries remain open, if Higham closes, what impact will this have on yours!?
