Thanks for supporting this petition so quickly, and with such commitment and concern. We've already surged past 600 signatures. Please help by sharing and asking others to sign - the deadline is short and the need is enormous.

The comments posted range from angry and emotional to desperate and despondent. We've had lots of messages outside of the petition too. There will be coverage on Look East tonight and we hope for and expect more media coverage that will swell the size of the petition. 

No child should go hungry. No parent should be left in the position they can't afford food for their family. The vouchers aren't the answer to the underlying problems but at the moment the priority is making sure children don't go hungry during the school holidays.
