Reminder: A paper that was widely cited for food regulation (including allowing weed killer residues in food) was recently retracted. Glyphosate in food is not safe.
Weed killer/pesticides/Herbicides go hand in hand with GE food systems. (Research shows the harm and it is not even needed - it just makes chemical companies profit while causing disease). To get the NZ we want - we need to make a submission before Monday. About 2 bills.
Please check out the research explaining why GE food and chemically dependent farming systems go hand in hand, along with the consequences and lessons learned overseas. NZ is currently in a reasonable position as it is GE-free. This would change under the HSNO and Gene Technology food bills.
