Everyone,

My heart is so full. I can't believe it, but Nintendo listened to us! We got more inclusive hairstyles! I cried when I found out and updated my game as soon as the update was available. My avatar now looks like me! I have seen so many amazing comments about how kids cried when they saw their hair. Adults crying because they finally felt seen. This is a huge step in the right direction to making inclusivity the norm. THANK YOU to all who signed this petition! This is all because we demanded our voices be heard. And thank you for all your kind words. I have been flooded with so much love and appreciation about this. 

It definitely wasn't always easy being "the face" of this movement. I experienced a lot of hatred and doubt.  But none of that matters now because it happened!
