As you know, a good majority of Nick Jr. shows that used to air on cable television were known to air on the Pluto TV streaming service, which is basically free on demand movies and TV. However, as of recently, they shook up their scheduling on their platform. They used to air classics like Franklin and Friends and Fresh Beat Band, but now they switched to showing hour and a half blocks of other shows. Some good like Team UmiZoomi, and some not so good like Rainbow Rangers. And that includes Ryan's Mystery Playdate. Where did the good shows go? I don't know, but I do know that they put the Fresh Beat Band on their Spanish Nick Jr. channel, which is relatively new and can't be understood by those like me who can't speak Spanish. And on top of that, the English Nick Jr. channel on Pluto TV did away with the descriptions of each episode that airs.
Let's use this as motivation to keep pressuring Viacom and Nickelodeon to put their older, classic shows on Netflix and/or on DVD. Sure, there are people who make DVDs that contain episodes of old shows like Gullah Gullah Island, Fresh Beat Band and Allegra's Window, but I'm talking official Nick Jr DVDs. Particularly season box set DVDs.
