Explain to them why you have supported this petition, and ask them to sign it too (and to let you know they have). Please also ask your MP to sign the group B Strep Early Day Motion (EDM 255 http://www.parliament.uk/edm/2015-16/255). Or, if they have already, please thank them. Either way, ask them to write to their Health Minister asking them to ensure that a) information on group B Strep is given routinely to every pregnant woman, and b) when a pregnant woman is tested for group B Strep carriage, the method used is that described as the UK standard by Public Health England (UK SMI B58). If we are going to make this happen, we need the support of as many MPs as possible!
