One of the things that is often talked about in these situations are trade-offs, particularly between economic development and environment. We would encourage NCC to look at other cities and their approach and were very impressed when looking at the measures being employed in Cambridge as an interesting model both in terms of engaging the community but also in terms of utilising Smart Traffic Management systems.
